Brenda Edwards to Perform at Shaka Zulu
Brenda Edwards, (X Factor and Chicago) will perform at Shaka Zulu in Camden on Thursday 10th November. Hosted by the legendary Patrick Alan, Music Box is the UK's hottest jam night, famous for being visited by some of the greatest touring artists of all time.
Patrick Alan is an internationally acclaimed musician who forms part of celebrated American doo-wop and soul group, The Drifters. Previous guests to Alan’s jam nights include; "Prince", Jay Z, Kanye West Will Smith, Amy Winehouse, Lionel Richie, Sean Paul, Wyclef Jean, Justin Timberlake, Angie Stone, Damon Dash,Nas, Black Eyed Peas, Chaka Khan Jessie J, Musiq Soul Child, R Kelly, Timberland, Jill Scott, Pixie Lott, John Legend, Keri Hilson and Anthony Hamilton.
Brenda Edwards, known for her strong vocals and personality, rose to fame after reaching the 4th place in the second series of The X-Factor. Thanks to her success she was offered the role of Mama Morton in the hit musical Chicago. In 2009 she joined the cast of Queen in the Queen musical “We Will Rock You” and toured in the UK as Killer Queen. The whole cast from the show will be present to watch Brenda Edwards perform at Music Box live.
The first single of her debut album "You know how to love me" taken from the musical When Midnight Strikes was released on November 15 2010 .
Shaka Zulu, one of London’s most unique venues, opened its doors in August 2010 in the iconic Camden Stables Market. Since then it has rapidly established itself as one of London’s most unique and versatile settings, offering a restaurant, bar, nightclub and regular live entertainment and music all under one roof.
