Until 31 August, Pescatori is offering a ‘Mari o Monti’ (Italian for ‘Surf or Turf’) menu lunch and dinner, keenly priced at £17.75 per person. This includes a glass of Prosecco, Half a Grilled Lobster with fries or a Char-Grilled Rib Eye Steak with a choice of sauce and fries.
It also includes a delicious choice of dessert, such as Pannacotta with Summer Berries, Chocolate Espresso Tart, Selection of Ice Creams or Sorbets, and that most Italian of summer desserts the Affogato – a scoop of vanilla ice cream ‘drowned’ in a shot of espresso – the perfect end to a great meal.
From the new a-la-carte menu introduced this month, try some great new fish dishes, where the provenance of the ingredients is as important as the cuisine itself. There are Irish Rock, Loch Ryan Native and Fine de Claire oysters, Loch Crinan Scallops, Devon Crab, Dorset Blue Lobster and Severn & Wye Salmon to name but a few. .
