LoveMusicLoveFood :

One charity, two books & three passions : music, food & photography. The LoveMusicLoveFood project has evolved around the vision of renowned food photographer Patrice de Villiers. Working alongside celebrated music journalist Andrew Harrison, who penned the interviews, and rock&roll caterer to the stars Sarah Muir, who created the recipes. Patrice & her team enlisted the help of many other talented individuals and companies who generously donated their time and services to the project. The  end result is LoveMusicLoveFood, The Rockstar Cookbook – a stunning book raising funds and awareness for Teenage Cancer Trust.

Superstar chef Heston Blumenthal has written the foreword for the book and created a recipe specially for the Teenage Cancer Trust’s most vocal & tirelessly campaigning patron, Roger Daltrey . Joined by a galaxy of music stars including Noel Gallagher, Kasabian, Paul Weller, Brandon Flowers, Brian May ,Siouxsie Sioux & over 60 others have let us in on which food or drink keeps their star shining & allowed us to smother them in Marmite, cover naked torsos with Haggis & tatties, pelt them with dayglo cupcakes to help young people with cancer.

What Teenage Cancer Trust do :
Every day in the UK, six young people are told they have cancer. Usually placed on a children’s ward or with elderly patients, young people often feel extremely isolated whilst being treated for cancer. Teenage Cancer Trust believes young people shouldn’t stop being teenagers just because they have cancer. So the charity builds units in NHS hospitals that offer young people specialist care, bringing them together so they can support each other in an environment suited to their needs. As well as specialist units, Teenage Cancer Trust also funds a number of services all with the same goal – to help young people fight cancer. These include clinical and research staff, an education programme for schools, family support networks and an annual conference for young cancer patients.
