Bubbleology, Rupert Street. It must be good its got an ology

Bubble Tea which originated in Taiwan in the early 80's and has since become super popular worldwide has found a home in the very happening Rupert Street ( thanks to Spuntino )
For the uninitiated and believe me, I was one of you until last night. Bubble Tea is the name given to a wide variety of incredibly refreshing flavoured fruit and milk teas. They are served either piping hot or ice cold with chewy natural tapioca balls that you suck up through and extra thick straw.

All this is being developed by the owner Assad Khan who discovered it whilst slipping out from JP Morgan NYNY for  a break. So culturally important is this drink that the Taiwanese ambassador Siao-Yue Chang will officially open the cafe tonight and the store will be ready for you tomorrow.
