Geales, Cale Street. Mushy peas have never been smarter. Made in Chelsea

With Chelsea once more making the headlines with Made in Chelsea making it once again one of the coolest  boroughs in London. Along comes another classic in the form of Geales fish restaurant, established in 1939 in uber cool Nottinghill, they have branched out into Chelsea.

On the former site of Toms Place owned by Tom Aikens. Mark Fuller, the owner of Sanctum Hotel, which everyone but everyone uses when they are looking for a discreet bolt hole in London, has taken to the helm and has  completely transformed the premises, even including a privater dining room that you wend your way up to, rather in the manner of going up to see Rapunzel as it seems to climb forever, however it does lead to a rather well appointed dining room that is perfect for those private dinner parties.

The food is good, the service on point. When I was there the placed was packed with a local crowd, that all seemed to be having a great time. I would not be surprised to see this as a location for the Made in Chelsea crowd for the next series.
