McQueens has been one of the most popular bar and restaurant in East London since the day it opened. The night I went the locals were out in force and intent for a good night out and by the look of it they were in the right place. The name is taken after the iconic film star Steve McQueen who has to be one of the most stylish men of all time and they have spent a lot of time making sure that the look of the place is somewhere that he would have felt at home in. The whole place is made up of the bar and restaurant on the ground floor and a club in the basement. The bar has an extensive cocktail list and bar food menu. but if you are after a night out where you want to speak to the people you are with without having to shout I suggest you book a table in the restaurant and nuckle down to have a great dinner. One of the most comfortable rooms I have been in for a while the buzz from the bar is shut out  by a very well insulated door, although still aware of the activity in the bar it didn't spoil the evening at all. And once we had ahd dinner we were well in the mood to go down to the club. It was a great evening and would heartily recommend it to anyone wanting to have a great dinner and then a bit of club action.
