Last night I had the first of hopefully many dinners comprising of English asparagus, the earlyness of the dinner in regards to the growing season for said asparagus is due to the warm weather that we have been having, that has seen all kinds of records broken in the kitchen gardens up and down the land. Here is to a couple of months of total indulgence and if you are lucky enough to have your own bed, just make sure you pick it as soon as it is long enough as it will keep coming and coming.
