And a competition for you all, but be quick.............

Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses, the Lancashire-based family of artisan cheese makers, has
launched a search to find the most delicious, lovingly prepared recipes using its hand-
made cheeses. Makers of the famous Blacksticks Blue and an impressive range of award
winning British regional cheeses, the family is hoping to inspire budding chefs from across
the country.
Loyal fans of the familyʼs cheeses have been sending in their favourite recipes for some
time. So when it came time to shoot a new seasonʼs worth of recipes the family decided to
turn over part of the process to the public.
Cheese lovers should send their recipes in, along with either a photograph and even a
little video footage if they want to really stand out. Recipes will be judged by Gill & Jean
Butler, the mother and daughter team behind the delicious Butlers Cheeses. The winning
chef will be invited to the dairy and farm to meet the family, see how the cheese is made
and be filmed making their recipe in the family kitchen.
The recipe will also be made up and photographed and used on the website and in a mini
recipe booklet, a great platform for any budding chef! And of course the winner will stay in
a local luxury hotel and get the chance to enjoy the beautiful countryside of Beacon Fell,
plus theyʼll receive an awful of of cheese to take home!
