The Nordic Bakery is a beautiful example of true Scandanavian style, simplistic in design yet warm and welcoming to the customer, a difficult thing to achieve yet they have a serenity about them that just makes you want to linger, that and the offerings of their produce make a undeniably happy marriage.

With a wealth of design history coming from this area of Northern Europe the choice of pieces that they could have run with as serving vessels and platters make the mind boggle but they have opted for some of the classier and these showcase their food to perfection. The table ware and furniture are all designed by iconic Nordic designers such as Kaj Franck, Alvar Aalto and Ilmari Tapiovaara, all names from the pantheon of cool

All the offerings are based on genuine Nordic recipes and ingredients, they have a wide selection of open rye bread sandwiches, hearty cinnamon buns and cakes all served with very fine coffee their cinnamon bun is fashioned after the Finnish bun locally known as Korvapuusit which literally means a slap on the ear, well that's as it maybe, but really, it  is an assault on the tongue.
