They will come and make it all happen for you at your home or office or garden, lets face it they could do it anywhere you chose. Please see information below that will give you a better idea of where to find them and what extras they are able to offer. Genius idea and wonderfully executed. The best tea time option in London without a doubt.

Garbo's Travelling Tearoom is a wonderful vintage afternoon tea service that can travel to your desired destination. We provide beautiful vintage tea china, silverware, linen, silver teapots, cake stands, and glassware, as well as gorgeous food to serve on it.

We'll come along to your home or office, set everything up for you, and clear it all away when you're done. All you have to decide is who is going to be 'mother'! Our service can also include extras such as flowers, invitations, waiting service, and even 20s, 30's & 40's music in the background!

Why go to a fancy hotel for a luxurious afternoon tea, when you can have an equally glamorous and delicious tea in the comfort of your own home or office! Garbo's Travelling Tearoom is the perfect choice for so many occasions - from baby showers, hen parties, and new mum celebrations to business meetings, house or office warmings, and even break up parties! Or simply, 'because'.

Our gorgeous food ranges from the traditional, think crustless cucumber sandwiches and scones with lashings of jam & clotted cream, to the deliciously unusual such as paella rice cakes or chorizo, manchego & quince paste on brioche rolls. Our full menu per person consists of 3 types finger sandwiches, 1 scone w/jam & clotted cream, 3 types of sweet, and your choice of tea w/milk or lemon. However, we are happy to accommodate all sized appetites! We can, of course, provide you with a selection of menu choices, or work with your own ideas. The choice is yours. Just get in touch and we'll be happy to discuss your requirements...

Their  History:
In an effort to see friends more regularly, I decided to host a special gathering once a month. I wanted to recreate a more genteel and elegant time, where time was taken to thoroughly enjoy each other's company. I decided that an afternoon tea, at home, using beautiful vintage pieces collected over a few years was just the ticket.

We started in the garden during the summer and moved indoors in the colder months. But we kept the atmosphere special with candlelight, faery lights, flowers, pearls strewn about, and music from the 20's, 30s and 40's.

Whilst we started the afternoons at 4-ish, the teas have been known to run late into the evening, with at least one guest usually making their exit just before the last trains! These teas were (and are!) the perfect opportunity for catching up and sharing a laugh with great friends, who feel spoiled with gorgeous food, and a wonderfully relaxed & luxurious atmosphere.

As my beautiful Great Dane, Garbo, was VERY present at each of the events, behaving very much like the lady in her manor, I decided to name the event after her. Thus was born Garbo's Tearoom! Since the first afternoon, the teas have continued and grown into much loved and anticipated events. My friends look forward to the few hours every month where they can step back into a bygone era and enjoy some much deserved glamorous pampering. I, very much, look forward to these teas too!

Garbo’s Travelling Tearoom is currently appearing at Hardy’s Brasserie in Marylebone, every saturday afternoon from 2 til 5 starting in Feb this year. Prices start at £8.50 up to £22.50 for the full works with a glass of bubbly! To book a table please contact the venue on 020 735 5929.
